Arwyr cyffredin Dave Jones / Dave Jones’s everyday heroes

Dave Jones At ddiwedd y tymor diwethaf cyfaddefodd Dave Jones nad oedd yn newyddiadurwr hapus, ac aeth ati i enwi ychydig o bobl oedd yn gwneud ei waith yn anoddach. Mae’n siwr ‘i fod wedi tyneru ychydig dros yr haf (pa haf?) ac wedi cynhyrchu rhestr arall, y tro yma un yn cynnwys ei arwyr cyffredin, y rhai sy’n gwneud ei waith yn haws!
A diolch i’r drefn mae’n rhestr weddol hir! Pobl fel Gwynfor Jones a Mike Smith, clwb Bangor, Marc Roberts(Caernarfon), Kevin Owen (Llanrug) a llawer mwy o Amlwch ar ben uchaf Môn ac ar draws arfordir y gogledd i gyd.
Mae’n dda medru dweud fod yna le i Port yn y rhestr a dyma’r hyn mae o’n ddweud amdanom:
“Mae ’na gymaint o bobl dda ym Mhorthmadog nes ei bod yn amhosib dewis ond un i enwi. Ond gan ddechrau ar y top, dwi erioed wedi gweithio gyda cadeirydd sydd mor hawdd mynd ato, a’i draed cymaint ar y ddaear a Phil Jones.
Wedyn mae gwefan ffantastig Port ,sydd bob amser ag adroddiad teg a manwl am bob gêm a hynny erbyn nos Sadwrn.
Hefyd y system ieuenctid sydd hefyd yn gwneud gwaith da, ac yn rhoi’r newyddion diweddaraf imi yn rheolaidd. Clwb gwych.”
Diolch Dave, a diolch iti hefyd am dy waith caled yn sicrhau fod pêl-droed gogledd Cymru yn cael sylw teg. Gofynnwch i Les Davies!!
Ar 16 Mehefin gwnaeth Dave Jones y sylwadau yma, ar ei flog. Sut fues i mor araf yn sylwi?

Towards the end of last season we reported that Dave Jones was not a happy man and had named a few names of people who were making his job more difficult. He must have mellowed a little during the summer (what summer?) break because he has produced another list this time his everyday heroes who make his job so much easier!
Happily it is quite a lengthy list people like Gwynfor Jones and Mike Smith at Bangor City, Marc Roberts (Caernarfon), Kevin Owen (Llanrug) and many more from Amlwch on the tip of Anglesey and right across the north Wales coast.
We are pleased to say that there is a place for Porthmadog FC and it is mentioned as a club in the following terms: “There are so many good people at Porthmadog it is impossible to single one out. Starting at the top, I've never worked with a more approachable and down to earth chairman as Phil Jones.
Then there is the fantastic Port website which always has a fair and detailed report on every match by Saturday evening. And the youth system at Port does a good job in keeping us informed too. Great club.”
Thanks Dave we also thank you for the admirable work you do ensuring club football in north Wales gets a fair airing. You only have to ask Les Davies!!
Dave Jones paid his respects on 16 June in his blog. How did it take me so long to pick up on it?

Ysgrifennydd HGA yn cefnogi galwad Phil / League Secretary backs Phil’s call

Chas Rowlands Mae galwad Phil am ariannu teg i academïau tu allan i UGC wedi taro nodyn tebyg gyda ysgrifennydd y gynghrair Chas Rowland. Roedd yn dda gweld fod yr erthygl ar ein gwefan wedi cael ei atgynhyrchu ar wefan yr HGA ac mae gan yn y chwanegu troednodyn:
“Ni fydd gan yr HGA Gynghrair Dan-19 y tymor nesaf 2012/13 gan mai dim ond dau glwb allan o 16 sydd wedi gwneud cais i fod mewn cynghrair Dan-19.
Gyda’r math o ariannu y mae Phil yn awgrymu byddai mwy o glybiau wedi gwneud cais.”
Yn ei dymor cyntaf llynedd roedd 5 clwb yn bennaf o’r gogledd ddwyrain yn y gynghrair Dan-19 a bellach dim ond dau sydd wedi dod ymlaen. Mae’n siomedig nad ydy’r math yma o gynghrair, sydd yn rhoi cyfle i chwaraewyr hyn yr Academi, yn medru mynd yn ei flaen ac mae’n anodd anghytuno gyda ysgrifennydd y gynghrair y byddai nifer fwy o glybiau yn barod i fentro gyda ariannu teg. Bwriad y gynghrair Dan-19 ydy rhoi cyfle i’r ieuenctid a chyfrannu at ddatblygiad y gêm.

Phil’s call for fair funding of non-WPL academies has struck a chord with League Secretary, Chas Rowland. We were pleased to note that the article on our website was reproduced on the HGA website and as a footnote to the article Chas Rowland adds:
“The Huws Gray Alliance will not be being running a Under 19 league for the 2012/13 season, only two of the sixteen member clubs applied to be in such a league.
With funding as suggested by Phil more clubs would have applied.”
The U-19 League in its inaugural season ran with five clubs mainly from NE Wales and now that has been reduced to only two applicants. It is disappointing that a league of this kind which covers the senior age group of the Academy remit cannot proceed and it is hard not to agree with the League Secretary that it would be the wish of far more HGA clubs to take part if fair funding was available. The league is designed to provide opportunities for young players and to make a contribution to player development.

Mel yn gadael yr Academi / Mel leaves the Academy

Mel Jones Mae Mel Jones, sydd wedi rhoi gwasanaeth sylweddol i Academi Porthmadog yn ei rôl fel Cyfarwyddwr yr Academi ac fel hyfforddwr, wedi gadael i gymryd swydd gyda Academi Bangor. Gwnaeth Mel gyfraniad mawr mewn cyfnod eithriadol o lwyddiannus i Academi Port, gyda timau wedi ymddangos yn rheolaidd yn y Drenewydd ar ddiwrnod y rowndiau terfynol yn ystod y tymhorau diweddar.
Dymuna’r clwb ddiolch i Mel am wasanaeth sydd yn ymestyn yn ôl dros nifer dda o flynyddoedd a’i gyfraniad pwysig i’r rhediad llwyddiannus. Gwelir ei golli, ond mae’n gadael gyda dymuniadau gorau pawb yn y clwb.

Mel Jones, who has given considerable service to the Porthmadog Academy as Academy Director as well as in a coaching role, has left to take up a position at the Bangor Academy. Mel has made a major contribution to what has been a highly successful period for the Port Academy with teams making regular appearances at Academy Finals Day at Newtown over several recent seasons.
The club wishes to thank Mel for his services, which stretch back over several seasons and for his valuable input to the successful run. He will be missed, but leaves with the best wishes of the club.

Port v Y Drenewydd / Port v Newtown

Y Drenewydd / Newtown Bydd Port yn parhau gyda’r paratoadau cyn dymor gyda gêm yn erbyn y Drenewydd o UGC ar y Traeth ddydd Sadwrn. Cafodd y clwb o’r canolbarth dipyn o lwc llynedd ac osgoi colli eu lle yn UGC Bydd eu rheolwr Bernie McNally, cyn chwaraewr rhyngwladol Gogledd Iwerddon, yn edrych i fanteisio a cheisio sefydlu safle’r clwb yn UGC dros y tymor nesaf. Mae yn adeiladu carfan ifanc a llwyddodd i gyrraedd rownd derfynol Cwpan yr Uwch Gynghrair llynedd. Mae’n anelu i gryfhau’r garfan a bydd Craig Williams yn dychwelyd i’r clwb o Aberystwyth. Un arall sydd wedi arwyddo ydy Elliot Jones, sgoriwr rheolaidd i Trefaldwyn yng Nghynghrair y Canolbarth. Un sydd wedi gadael y clwb ydy Lee Hartshorn sydd wedi ymuno gyda Lido Afan.
Y tro diwethaf i’r ddau glwb gyfarfod oedd yn UGC ar 23 Mawrth 2010 ar Barc Latham gyda Port yn ennill o 3-1. Uchafbwynt y gêm oedd hat tric wych gan Chris Jones.

Port continue their pre-season build up when they take on WPL opponents Newtown at the Traeth on Saturday. Manager Bernie McNally, a former Northern Ireland international, will be looking to take advantage of their fortunate relegation escape to consolidate their position in next season’s WPL. He is building a young squad who reached last season’s League Cup Final. He is looking to strengthen his squad and has brought back former Newtown player Craig Williams from Aberystwyth. Another signing is Elliot Jones who was amongst the goals last season for Spar Mid Wales club Montgomery. They have lost the services of defender Lee Hartshorn who has signed for Afan Lido.
The last time the two clubs met was in the WPL on 23 March 2010 a game played at Latham Park and resulted in a 3-1 win for Port. A brilliant Chris Jones hat trick was the highlight of the match.

Cae 3G ar y Traeth Ie neu Na? / 3G or no 3G that is the question?

Cae 3G Pitch Cae 3G ar y Traeth Ie neu Na hwnna ydy’r cwestiwn sy’n wynebu'r Cadeirydd Phil Jones a gweddill swyddogion CPD Porthmadog. 3G ydy’r 3ydd Genhedlaeth o gaeau chwaraeon artiffisial. Sut tybed fyddai cefnogwyr yn ymateb pe byddai’r cae presennol ar y Traeth, un sy'n cael ei gydnabod yn un o'r gorau yn yr UGC a’r HGA, yn cael ei gyfnewid am un artiffisial?
Bu gan TNS gae artiffisial ers 7 mlynedd ond heb argyhoeddi pawb. Ond rhaid cofio fod caeau o’r fath yn gwella ac yn datblygu drwy’r adeg ac mae swyddogion Port yn teimlo ei fod yn opsiwn y dylid ystyried, a nid am rhesymau ymarferol yn unig.
Mae cynnal y Traeth i safon uchel yn mynd yn broblem i Phil ac Ian ond, er waetha gofyn droeon am wirfoddolwyr sy’n barod i roi awr neu ddwy o’u hamser, ni ddaeth neb ymlaen i gymryd lle Tudor a fu’n cynorthwyo y tymor diwethaf. Dywedodd Phil “Dwi ddim yn barod i weld safonau’n gostwng felly mae’n rhaid ystyried opsiynau eraill.”
Ond mae llawer mwy i’r cynllun nag ystyriaethau negyddol. Mae Port yn ymfalchïo eu bod yn glwb cymunedol a bydd cyflwyno cae 3G yn gwneud y Traeth yn ganolbwynt cymunedol. Yn wahanol i’r cae presennol sydd angen ei reoli’n ofalus, bydd yn bosib defnyddio cae 3G saith niwrnod yr wythnos. Yn ogystal â bod yn adnodd ardderchog i’r clwb a’r Academi ar gyfer ymarfer, byddai’n bosib i’r gymuned gyfan ei ddefnyddio gan gynnwys clybiau’r ardal, ysgolion a cholegau, ysgolion hyfforddi yn yr haf ac ar gyfer defnydd hamdden wedi’i drefnu. Byddai’n gwneud Ail Dîm a thîm Merched yn opsiwn ymarferol, gan y byddai’r adnodd yn un y gellid ei ddefnyddio at yr holl gemau ac ymarfer. Byddai cynnig yr adnodd at ddefnydd y gymuned hefyd yn dod ag incwm i’r clwb. Eisoes mae TNS wedi dangos fod hyn yn ymarferol . Mae gan y cynllun y potensial i hybu datblygiad y gêm yn yr ardal.
Ni oes unrhyw benderfyniad wedi’i gymryd eto ond mae’r clwb wedi bod mewn cysylltiad gyda chwmni sy’n cyflenwi caeau 3G a rwan bydd rhaid chwilio am ffynonellau grant posibl gan y bydd yn gynllun costus. Eisoes mae Gwyn Derfel wedi galw am gaeau artiffisial i bob clwb UGC, felly, wrth edrych at y dyfodol, bydd angen i Borthmadog gadw fyny efo’r newidiadau. Pan fydd ymholiadau wedi’u cwblhau bydd mwy o wybodaeth ar gael i gefnogwyr.

3G or not 3G that is the question facing Chairman Phil Jones and Porthmadog FC officials. 3G stands for the 3rd Generation of artificial sports pitches. How I wonder would supporters respond to the replacing of the current Traeth surface, recognised as being among the best surfaces in the WPL and the HGA, and replacing it with an artificial surface?
TNS have had an artificial pitch now for 7 years but it has not always been popular with everyone. But artificial pitches constantly improve and develop and Port officials feel they are an option which they have to consider but not for purely practical reasons.
Keeping the Traeth in tip top condition is huge undertaking for Phil and Ian and despite repeated requests for volunteers to give an hour or two of their time, no one has come forward to replace Tudor who assisted last season. Phil said, “I am not prepared to lower standards so we have to consider other options.”
But there is far more to consider than a negative response. Porthmadog prides itself on being a community club and introducing a 3G surface could make the Traeth a community hub. 3G pitches, unlike the current surface which requires careful management, can be used 7 days a week. In addition to providing the Port club and its Academy with an ideal training surface it could be open for community use for clubs, schools and colleges, summer soccer schools and for general organised leisure use. It would also make having a Reserve team and Women’s team a more practical option as all teams would be able to use the Traeth for both matches and training. Providing a community facility would also be a valuable source of income for the club.
TNS have shown this to be the case with regular community use of their pitch. It also has the potential to make a huge positive impact on the development of the game in the area.No decision has been taken but the club are in touch with a company who supply 3G pitches and provisional searches will start for grant aid for what will be an expensive investment. Gwyn Derfel has already come out in favour of all WPL clubs having artificial pitches so looking to the future Porthmadog FC will need to keep ahead of the game.
The club will keep supporters up to date with developments once they have completed their initial enquiries.

Dau grwydryn yn dychwelyd / The Rovers Return

Brasil / Brazil Mae’r ddau grwydryn wedi dychwelyd i’r Traeth ar ôl cyfnod o deithio byd. Tra roedd gyda Port yn ystod 2009-11 bu Dan Pyrs yn treulio cyfnod yn yr haf ym Mrasil ond llynedd cymrodd flwyddyn allan i deithio. Yn ystod ei ddau dymor gyda Port chwaraeodd Dan 28 (+3) o gemau Uwch Gynghrair Cymru a 26(+3) o gemau HGA, a rhain yn bennaf fel chwaraewr canol cae ymosodol ond hefyd yn medru llenwi fewn yn y cefn fel cefnwr neu amddiffynnwr canol. Bydd yna groeso iddo yn ôl ar y Traeth.
Croeso hefyd i Ceri James. Bu yma am y tro cyntaf pan oedd Tomi Morgan yn rheolwr ac wedi gweithio gyda Tomi yn y Trallwng yn flaenorol. Ond wedi treulio ychydig fisoedd yn unig ar y Traeth siomwyd cefnogwyr ym mis Ionawr gan fod Ceri ar ei ffordd i Seland Newydd. Yno treuliodd dau dymor gyda Melville United pencampwyr Uwch Gynghrair y Gogledd.
Gwnaeth argraff yn syth ar ei glwb newydd a dywedodd papur y Waikato Times amdano, “Mae James yn chwaraewr o safon ac yn debygol o sefyll allan y tymor hwn i Melville wrth iddynt amddiffyn y bencampwriaeth.” Disgrifiwyd o hefyd “... yn un gyda’r enw o fod yn chwaraewr cryf yng nghanol cae ac yn ddosbarthwr solet.” Yn ei ail dymor gyda Melville yn 2011 pleidleisiwyd Ceri yn Chwaraewr y Tymor gan ei gyd chwaraewyr.
O ddiddordeb i gefnogwyr Port, yn ail dymor Cei gyda Melville ymunodd Mike Thompson â’r clwb. Ie yr un Mike Thompson a chwaraeodd gyda Ceri yn Port ac yn y Trallwng. Thompson oedd y prif sgoriwr llynedd a fo hefyd oedd Chwaraewr y Tymor y Cefnogwyr!

Seland Newydd / New Zeland The wanderers have returned to the Traeth following a period travelling the world. When he was with Port during 2009-11 Dan Pyrs spent a part of his summer in Brazil but then took a year out to travel. During his two previous with Port he played 28(+3) WPL games and the following season 26(+3) HGA matches, all mainly as an attacking midfielder but also able to fill in at full back or central defence. There will be a warm welcome back to the Traeth.
A warm welcome also awaits Ceri James back to the Traeth. He was originally brought here by former manager Tomi Morgan who had previously worked with Ceri at Welshpool. But by January Ceri to the disappointment of supporters had departed to travel in New Zealand where he spent two seasons with the Northern Premier League champions, Melville United.
He created an immediate impression in New Zealand and the local Waikato Times said of him, “James is class and is likely to stand out this season for the defending champions.” It also described him as a “... soccer player with a reputation as a strong midfielder and a solid distributor.” In his second season with Melville in 2011, Ceri was voted Players’ Player of the Year.
During that second season he was joined by Mike Thompson whom many supporters will remember as he had previously played with Ceri at both Porthmadog and Welshpool. Thompson was Melville’s top scorer last year and was also voted Supporters Player of the Year!

Llanrug v Port nos Fawrth / Llanrug v Port Tuesday

Bydd Porthmadog yn chwarae ei gêm gyfeillgar gyntaf nos Fawrth (10 Gorffennaf) yn erbyn Llanrug i chwarae’r clwb o’r Welsh Alliance ar gae’r Eithin Duon. Bydd y gic gyntaf am 6.45pm.
Y tymor diwethaf gorffennodd Llanrug, sy’n cael eu rheoli gan Aled Owen cyn gapten Port, yn y chweched safle yn Adran Gyntaf y Welsh Alliance. Gyda Gareth Parry eisoes wedi arwyddo niwclews carfan llynedd, ac hyd yn hyn wedi ychwanegu dau, sef y cyn chwaraewyr Dan Pyrs a Ceri James, dylai’r gêm hon rhoi cychwyn da i’r tymor i’r ddau glwb eto eleni.

Porthmadog will play their first friendly of the season on Tuesday evening (10 July) when they visit Llanrug and take on the Welsh Alliance club at their Eithin Duon ground. The game will kick off at 6.45pm.
Last season Llanrug, who are managed by former Porthmadog skipper Aled Owen, finished in sixth spot in the Welsh Alliance Division One. With Gareth Parry already signing up the nucleus of last season’s squad and so far adding two former players, Dan Pyrs and Ceri James, this will once more provide both clubs with a good early work out.

Dau chwaraewr arall yn arwyddo / Two more players sign on

Dan Pyrs Mae’r garfan ar gyfer 2012/13 yn dal i gymryd siâp gyda’r rheolwr Gareth Parry yn datgelu fod dau arall wedi arwyddo. Mae Graham Boylan, a ymunodd o Congleton yn hwyr y tymor diwethaf gan chwarae rhan bwysig yn rhediad Port o saith buddugoliaeth yn olynol i orffen y tymor, wedi arwyddo eto.
“Bydd yn dda cael Graham am y tymor cyfan,” meddai Gareth Parry, “wrth iddo benderfynu aros gyda ni er waetha’r ffaith ei fod wedi derbyn cynigion da gan glybiau sy’n dipyn fwy lleol iddo.”
Crwydryn arall sy’n dychwelyd ydy Dan Pyrs wedi iddo dreulio blwyddyn ffwrdd yn teithio ac yn arwyddo unwaith eto i Port. “Bydd yn grêt i gael egni, sgil a chymeriad Dan yn ôl,” meddai Gareth Parry, “a gall ei gyfraniad fod yn bwysig iawn inni y tymor hwn.”
Mae dau o garfan y tymor ddiwethaf wedi penderfynu symud ymlaen. Mae’r blaenwr Iwan Williams wedi derbyn swydd newydd ym Mhryste ac felly yn methu ymarfer yn ystod yr wythnos. Mae Iwan wedi penderfynu dychwelyd i’w gyn glwb Llanfairpwll lle fydd yn is chwaraewr rheolwr. Mae Mark Jones yn arwyddo i Gonwy ac eisoes chwaraeodd iddynt yn y gêm ymarfer gyntaf yn erbyn TNS.
Mae’r ddau yn gadael gyda diolch y clwb a’r rheolwr a gyda dymuniadau gorau at y dyfodol.

The squad for 2012/13 continues to take shape with manager Gareth Parry announcing two more players signing up. Graham Boylan; who joined late last season from Congleton Town and played a significant part as Port ended the season with seven straight victories, has signed again.
“I am pleased that we will have Graham for the whole season said Gareth Parry and that he has decided to stay with us and that despite receiving tempting offers from clubs who were in his local area.”
Another wanderer returns with Dan Pyrs, after spending a year away travelling, signing again for Port. “It will be great to have the energy skill and character which Dan provides back again,” said Gareth Parry, “and this could be an important factor in the season ahead.”
Two of last season’s squad have moved on. Forward Iwan Williams has taken up a new post in Bristol and would not be available for midweek training. He has signed for former club Llanfairpwll as assistant player/manager. Mark Jones is signing for Conwy Borough and played for them in their first pre-season game against TNS last Saturday. Both players leave with the thanks of the manager and the Porthmadog club who wish them well in the future.

Llongyfarchiadau Derwyddon / Well done Druids

Derwyddon Cefn Druids Llongyfarchiadau i’r Derwyddon Cefn am perfformiad arwrol nodweddiadol neithiwr gan hefyd rhwystro MyPa rhag sgorio. Gallai pethau fod hyd yn oed yn well gan i’r Derwyddon hefyd daro’r bar a’r post. Canlyniad gwych i’r clwb o’e Gynghrair Undebol ac fel un o’r chwech a gollodd ei lle yn UGC mae’n gwneud pwynt dilys. Pob hwyl at yr ail gymal.
Gyda Bangor a Llanelli hefyd yn cael canlyniadau da roedd yn noson dda i Gymru yn Ewrop.

Congratulations to Cefn Druids for a typical sterling performance last night against MyPa and keeping a clean sheet. They struck the woodwork twice so it could have been even better. It is an outstanding achievement for a Cymru Alliance club and as one of the excluded six under the WPL reorganisation makes a valid point. Best of luck in the second leg.
With Bangor and Llanelli also doing well it was a good night for Welsh clubs in Europe.

Un hen wyneb newydd yn arwyddo / One new old face signs

Ceri James Dywedodd Gareth Parry fod naw o garfan llynedd wedi arwyddo’n barod gyda mwy i wneud yn ystod yr wythnos nesaf. Mae hyn yn cynnwys Darren Thomas a Grahame Austin a arwyddodd ar ddiwedd y tymor diwethaf. Bellach mae Rhys Roberts, Richard Harvey, Chris Williams, Craig Roberts, Ryan Davies, Gareth Jones Evans a Steve Kehoe wedi ymuno a nhw.
Mae yna un hen wyneb newydd gyda Ceri James, chwaraewr canol cae creadigol yn dychwelyd. Chwaraeodd Ceri 11(+5) o weithiau yn UGC yn nhymor 2009/10 dros Port, cyn mynd i Seland Newydd lle chwaraeodd dros Melville United yng Nghynghrair y Gogledd. Y tymor diwethaf ar ôl cyrraedd adref bu’n chwarae dros Dinbych yn y Welsh Alliance.
“Er fy mod yn edrych i ddod ac un neu ddau o wynebau newydd i fewn -Ceri yn un,” meddai Gareth Parry, “dwi’n awyddus ofnadwy i gadw llawer o’r garfan a wnaeth mor dda tymor diwethaf ac adeiladu ar y ffordd maent yn chwarae fel tîm”.
Ynglyn a Gareth Jones Evans a Carl Owen, dau ag anafiadau tymor hir, dywedodd, “Efallai fydd dechrau’r tymor yn dod yn rhy sydyn i’r ddau ohonynt ar y funud. Mae’n bosib bydd rhaid iddynt fynd i chwarae i glwb arall ar fenthyg am rhyw fis i gael eu ffitrwydd cyn dod yn ôl. Ond pan ddaw y ddau yn ôl bydd yn union fel cael dau chwaraewr newydd!”

Gareth Parry has announced today that nine of last season’s squad have so far signed for 2012/13 with the remainder to do so over the next week. They include Darren Thomas and Grahame Austin who had in fact signed before the end of last season. They are now joined by Rhys Roberts, Richard Harvey, Chris Williams, Craig Roberts Ryan Davies, Gareth Jones-Evans and Steve Kehoe.
There is one new/old face in Ceri James, a creative midfielder, who previously played for Port in season 2009/10 making 11(+5) WPL appearances before leaving for New Zealand where he played for Northern League club, Melville United. Last season after returning he played for Denbigh Town in the Welsh Alliance.
“Though I am looking to bring in one or two new faces, Ceri being one,” said Gareth Parry, “I am very keen to keep most of last season’s squad as they have built up such a good understanding and performed so well last season.”
Of Gareth Jones-Evans and Carl Owen, the two long term injuries from last season, he says, “At the moment the likelihood is that the start of the new season will come to quickly for them to be a part of it. They might need to go on loan to give them an opportunity to recover their fitness. But when they do return it will be like having two more new signings!”
