Cynllun 5-mlynedd y Gymdeithas Bêl-droed Football Association of Wales’ 5-year strategy Saesneg / English Mae dogfen ymgynghorol y Gymdeithas Bêl-droed yn amlinellu cynllun 5-mlynedd i’r gêm yng Nghymru. Y prif argymhellion yw: Datblygu’r tîm cenedlaethol yn llwyddiannus Datblygu tri stadiwm i gyrraedd safonau UEFA Adrefnu’r pyramid yn llwyr Dod ag UGC dan rheolaeth y Gymdeithas Bêl-droed. Bydd angen i’r Gymdeithas Bêl-droed fuddsoddi mewn cynnal a gwella caeau i’r safon angenrheidiol yn y gogledd, y canolbarth a’r de er mwyn sicrhau na fydd rhaid i unrhyw glwb chwarae gemau yng nghystadlaethau UEFA yn bell o’u cartref. Newid y pyramid er mwyn adlewyrchu’r gêm lled broffesiynol yng Nghymru ar lefel genedlaethol yn y chwe cynghrair bydd â chyswllt uniongyrchol gyda’r Gymdeithas Bêl-droed – Yr Uwch Gynghrair, Y Cymru Alliance, Cynghrair Cymru (y De), Cynghrair y Canolbarth, Y Welsh Alliance a’r Gynghrair Genedlaethol (ardal Wrecsam). Bydd rhaid i safonau’r cynghreiriau sy’n bwydo fod yn agos at safonau UGC. Dylai’r Cymru Alliance a Chynghrair Cymru (y De) annog eu cynghreiriau uchaf i gynnwys timau sydd â chyfleusterau y gellir eu huwchraddio at safon Trwydded Domestig y Gymdeithas yn unig. O ddechrau 2009/10 dylai UGC ddod dan reolaeth uniongyrchol y Gymdeithas Bêl-droed gyda chynghrair dwy adran o ddeg clwb yn cychwyn o’r tymor dilynol - wedi eu penderfynu ar sail y clybiau hynny sydd a Thrwydded Clwb y Gymdeithas ac ar safle yn y gynghrair. Football Association of Wales’ 5-year strategy THE FAW consultation document outlines a five-year strategy for the domestic game. The main points from the document are: Successful development of the national team. Three regional stadia to be developed to Uefa criteria A completely revised pyramid system The Welsh Premier to be brought under FAW control On stadia there is a need for the FAW to invest in the maintenance and improvement of grounds to the required standard in north, central and south Wales, to ensure that no club has to play a UEFA tie far from its home ground. A completely revised Welsh Pyramid which reflects the semi-professional game at the national level in six directly affiliated leagues – the Welsh Premier, Cymru Alliance, Welsh League, Mid Wales League, Welsh Alliance and Welsh National League. Standards in the feeder leagues must reflect a proximity to Welsh Premier standards. Welsh League and Cymru Alliance should encourage their respective top divisions to only include teams who meet a standard of facilities criteria which can be upgraded to that required by the FAW Domestic Club Licensing System. The WPL should be brought under the direct control of the FAW by the start of 2009/10 season, with membership reduced to two leagues of 10 clubs each by the start of the following season, based on clubs which meet the FAW Club Licence and league position. |
