Hogiau Dan 9 ar y Traeth / Under 9’s at the Traeth Saesneg / English Roedd y cefnogwyr a welodd y gêm yng Nghwpan Cymru rhwng Port a TNS ddydd Sadwrn wedi’u plesio’n arw wrth weld hogiau tîm Dan 9 Porthmadog, sydd yn chwarae yng Nghynghrair Llŷn ac Eifionydd, yn dangos eu sgiliau cyn y prif gêm. Cafwyd gêm rhwng y Gleision a’r Cochion gyda’r sgôr yn gorffen yn 2-2. Osian Ellis ac Ioan Rowlands oedd y sgorwyr i’r Gleision gyda Dylan Sweeney a Tomos Smith yn ymateb dros y Cochion. Cafodd yr hogiau gerdded allan gyda’r ddau dîm ar ddechrau’r gêm ac, yn ystod hanner amser, cawsant gystadleuaeth ciciau o’r smotyn yn erbyn ail golwr Porthmadog. Llongyfarchiadau i Siôn Williams am ennill y gystadleuaeth. Yn ystod y gêm, gweithredodd yr hogiau fel ‘ball-boys’. Dymuna’r hogiau hefyd ddiolch i’w hyfforddwyr sef Bernie Sweeney a Steve Smith (Psycho). Y gobaith yw y bydd mwy o gêmau o’r fath yn cael eu trefnu gyda chlybiau eraill o Gynghrair Llŷn ac Eifionydd yn cymryd rhan. English Supporters attending the Welsh Cup tie against TNS were delighted to see the youngsters of the Porthmadog under 9’s, who play in the Llŷn and Eifionydd League, showing their skills before the main match on Saturday. A match was played between the Blues and the Reds and the game ended with the score at 2-2. Osian Ellis and Ioan Rowlands were the scorers for the Blues while Dylan Sweeney and Tomos Smith replied for the Reds. The young lads also accompanied the two teams when they came on the field and also took part in a penalty shoot out against Port’s second keeper during half-time. The competition winner was Siôn Williams and congratulations to him. The boys were also the ball-boys during the match. The under 9’s would like to thank their two coaches who are Bernie Sweeney and Steve Smith (Psycho). It is hoped that further games can be arranged between now and the end of the season when other clubs from the Llŷn and Eifionydd League will be invited to take part. |
