The Academys second game in the Tom Yeoman shield was away to Bangor City Academy.
The games were played at the Bangor University, Maes Glas sports complex.
Again the boys responded well and applied themselves to the task, despite a very
determined display by the Bangor boys, who proved to be difficult opponents for
long periods within the games.
For these games it was nice to welcome back Gwynant Parry (Llanystumdwy), who
played his first competitive match since breaking his arm at the Shrewsbury
Tournament in early August.

The Academy U11s played their first fixture in the WSFA Tom Yeoman Shield, away
to the Flintshire Schools FA. The games were played at the Bryn Coch school, Mold,
who boast some excellent facilities.
The Flintshire Schools FA are traditionaly very strong and well organised and
their consistent appearance in the finals of the Tom Yeoman Shield is testament to
this.
So, this was a very tough ask for the boys, having had only one full training
session and one session indoors with the coaching board on the night prior to the
game.
On the day, the response from the players was excellent, their attitude,
application and behaviour was a credit to all concerned.
