The ties will be played on Saturday 10 November. 04/07/07 Gwaith yn parhau ar y clwb / Work continues on the clubhouse Wedi wythnosau o oedi wedi problemau gyda'r seiliau concrit, mae'r gwaith o adeiladu'r 'clubhouse' ar y Traeth wedi cymryd camau breision yn ei flaen yn ystod y dyddiau diwethaf wrth i'r muriau ffrâm bren gyrraedd a chael eu gosod yn eu lle mewn amser byr gan y contractwyr Jamie Richardson Ld. Fel y gwelwch o'r lluniau mae'r gwaith yn dod yn ei flaen. Heddiw mae sgaffaldau yn cael eu gosod o gwmpas yr adeilad gyda'r contractwyr yn ôl dydd Iau a dydd Gwener i osod y to. Dylai'r adeilad fod yn dal dŵr yn barod i ddechrau y gwaith mewnol yn fuan wythnos nesaf. Dyna pryd y byddem yn ddiolchgar iawn o gymorth gwirfoddolwyr i gynorthwyo efo gosod plasterboard, teilsio a phlastro. Ac wrth gwrs y gwaith labro! Os gallwch helpu am ddim ond chydig o oriau, dylech gysylltu â ysgrifennydd@cpdporthmadog.com neu Phil Jones ar 07816213188. After weeks of stop, start and inactivity following problems with the concrete pad, the club house project at Y Traeth has taken big steps forward in the last two days with the arrival of the timber frame structure and the speedy erection of the building by the contractors Jamie Richardson Ltd. As you can see from the photos work is now going well. Today scaffolding is being erected around the building with the contractors back on site on Thursday and Friday to erect the roof. The building should be water tight and internal work can start early next week. That is when volunteers will be required to help with plasterboarding, tiling and plastering. And of course labouring! Please contact secretary@porthmadogfc.com or contact Phil Jones on 07816213188 if you can lend a hand even if only for a few hours. 29/06/07 Boskin yn ymuno â Llangefni / Boskin leaves for Llangefni Yn ôl gwefan CPD Llangefni, mae Richard Hughes wedi gadael Port i ymuno â newydd-ddyfodiaid Uwchgynghrair Cymru. Mae Richard - Boskin i'r cefnogwyr - wedi chwarae am gyfnodau i Port ers blynyddoedd, ond yn aml roedd galwad gwaith yn ei gwneud hi'n anodd iddo chwarae'n gyson. Bydd ffyddloniaid y Traeth yn cofio gallu Richard i chwarae'n effeithiol ym mhob safle ar y cae! Dechreuodd 29 o weithiau y tymor diwethaf gan sgorio dwy. Dymunwn yn dda iddo at y dyfodol. According to Llangefni FC's website, Richard Hughes has left Port to join the Welsh Premier's newly promoted side. Richard - Boskin to the supporters - has played a number of stints for Port over the years interrupted by time where work commitments made it difficult for him to play regularly. Regulars at the Traeth will remember his ability to play successfully in any position on the filed! Last season he started 29 times, scoring twice. We wish him well for the future. 29/06/07 Yr Ysgol Bêl-droed yn llwyddiant / Soccer School a success Dechreuodd yr ysgol bêl-droed haf ar y Traeth ar nos Mercher gyda 15 o chwaraewyr ifanc yn derbyn hyfforddiant gan Mike Foster. Clayton will have to wait until December 15 for a trip to his home town after the opening fixture of the season against Neath was switched to the Traeth. Dywedodd wrth BBC Cymru ar ôl y i’r Panel Cymodi wneud ei ddyfarniad “Rwy’n hapus iawn, a llawer hapusach nag oeddwn i’r tro o’r blaen i lawr yn Y Bae. “Gwên ar fy wyneb y tro yma o’i gymharu â’r tro diwethaf! “Synnwyr cyffredin wedi ennill y diwrnod o’r diwedd -ond da ni ‘di siomi’n bod ni wedi gorfod dod mor bell â hyn i brofi pwynt. “Ond mae o’n bwynt pwysig iawn, roedd rhaid ei brofi.” Er nad oedd Port yn gwadu fod y peth wedi digwydd, roeddent drwy’r cyfnod yn chwerw at y driniaeth llaw drwm a gawsant gan y Gymdeithas Bêl Droed. Ychwanegodd Nic Parry , cynrychiolydd cyfreithiol y clwb, “Beth oedd yn poeni clwb Porthmadog oedd fod y Gymdeithas Bêl Droed yn defnyddio clwb bach fel nhw i wneud pwynt a gwneud hynny drwy orgosbi. “Roedd hwn yn bwynt o egwyddor gan Borthmadog a mae nhw di ymladd y pwynt nid yn unig ar ran eu hunain ond ar ran holl aelodau eraill yn y Gynghrair Genedlaethol” Yn amlwg, roedd nifer fawr o glybiau yn cytuno’n llwyr â’r pwynt yma gan i glybiau, grwpiau cefnogwyr ac unigolion o bell ac agos gefnogi’r clwb yn eu safiad. Nid oedd gan y Gymdeithas Bêl Droed ddim i ddweud. Wel dyna ichi sioc! Today was a day when Chairman Phil Jones could at last feel that the club had received a fair hearing. He told BBC Wales following the Independent Arbitration, “I'm absolutely delighted. It's a massive difference to the outcome the last time we were down in Cardiff, we've always pleaded guilty on this case from the very beginning because we know the incident did happen - we never tried to deny it.” "But we were very cross from the beginning at the way we were treated by the FAW and the penalties incurred on us. "It became a matter of principle because the three-point deduction made no difference to our league position.” "We were fighting this for every club in Wales and we made that clear to everybody." And clearly many other clubs in Wales shared that view for Porthmadog received wonderful support from clubs, supporters groups and individuals from far and wide who were appalled by the behaviour of the FAW. The club’s legal representative Nic Parry added, "This is beyond their wildest dreams, but it is just. "They've never shied away from the fact that they were responsible, they pleaded guilty from the outset and the tribunal emphasised the fact they have been fined £1,000 for a serious incident. "The point that Porthmadog wished to make was that the punishment was excessive, it wasn't reflective and that the FAW was using a small club to try and drive home a message by imposing an unfair sanction and they weren't prepared to live with that. Clearly they deserved to be sanctioned, but everybody with an ounce of common sense could see that this was simply excessive, when there was so little in reality the club could have done to prevent it. "This is a clear, outstanding victory. Porthmadog feel entirely vindicated," he added. The FAW had no comment to make. What a surprise! 18/06/07 Port yn llwyddo yn yr Apêl / Port succeed in Appeal Cafodd ffydd cyfarwyddwyr Porthmadog wrth fynd â’u hapêl i gymodwyr annibynnol ei gyfiawnhau wrth i’r costau echrydus a osodwyd ar y clwb, gan banel apêl y Gymdeithas Bêl Droed, eu dileu. Yn ogystal, mae’r panel cymodi wedi gorfodi’r Gymdeithas i dalu swm o £4,000 tuag at gostau Porthmadog. Cafwyd buddugoliaeth foesol hefyd wrth i’r gosb o dynnu dri phwynt hefyd gael ei dileu. Er y llwyddiannau yma, mae’n dal yn syndod fod y gosb o £1,000 a osodwyd gan Banel Apêl y Gymdeithas, yn aros. Bydd hi’n dal yn aneglur felly sut mae clwb i weithredu er mwyn osgoi cosb pan fo gwyliwr mewn gêm yn ymddwyn yn y fath fodd. Mae’n dal yn ddirgelwch hefyd, sut mae rhai o glybiau mawr y gamp yn llwyddo i osgoi unrhyw gosb, gyda’r heddlu yn hytrach yn gweithredu yn erbyn yr unigolyn sy’n troseddu. The faith shown by the directors of Porthmadog in the independent arbitrators has been justified as the swingeing costs imposed by the FAW’s appeal hearing have been removed. In addition the FAW have been instructed to pay £4,000 towards the costs incurred by the club in having to take the matter so far. A moral victory has also been achieved in that the threat of the three points deduction has also been removed. Despite these successes, it remains surprising that the fine of £1,000 for the original offence remains. It remains therefore unclear how clubs can avoid punishment when a spectator acts in such a way. It also remains a mystery how many of the football’s leading clubs have had similar incidents, with the police taking action against the individual concerned and the Associations taking no action against the club. 17/06/07 Phil Jones wedi’i ethol i Fwrdd UGC / Phil Jones elected to WPL Board Llongyfarchiadau i gadeirydd Porthmadog, Phil Jones, ar ei ethol i Fwrdd Cyfarwyddwyr Uwch Gynghrair Cymru, yn y Cyfarfod Blynyddol a gynhaliwyd ddydd Sadwrn (16 Mehefin) yn Llandudno. Mewn pleidlais o wyth clwb y gogledd, sicrhaodd y sedd o flaen llywydd Bangor, Gwyn Pierce Owen, a oedd yn aelod blaenorol o’r bwrdd. Cynrychiolwyr eraill y clybiau ar y bwrdd fydd Tony Bates (Aberystwyth) ac Andrew Edwards (Port Talbot). Penderfynodd y cynrychiolwyr, hefyd, gynyddu’r wobr i enillwyr UGC at y tymor nesaf i £15,000. Hefyd mae fformat Cwpan y Gynghrair i’w newid gyda’r clybiau’n rhannu i chwe grwp o dri. Bydd y chwech uchaf yn mynd ymlaen i rownd yr wyth olaf ynghyd â’r ddau orau o’r clybiau sy’n gorffen yn ail. Bydd Bwrdd y Gynghrair yn edrych ar y posibilrwydd o drefn ‘play-off’ rhwng y clybiau sy’n gorffen o drydydd i chweched i benderfynu ar fynediad i Gwpan yr Inter Toto. Hysbyswyd y cynrychiolwyr o’r posibilrwydd o noddwr arall yn cydweithio â’r Principality. Congratulations to Porthmadog chairman, Phil Jones, who was elected to the WPL Board of Directors at Saturday’s (June 16th) League AGM at Llandudno. In a ballot of the eight north Wales clubs, he gained the seat on the Board ahead of the Bangor president, Gwyn Pierce Owen, who was previously a Board member. The other club representatives on the Board will be Tony Bates (Aberystwyth) and Andrew Edwards (Port Talbot). The AGM also decided to increase WPL champion’s prize-money to £15,000. The League Cup format will be changed for next season with clubs being split into six groups of three with the winners entering the quarter final stage together with the two best losers. The WPL Board is to look at the possibility of introducing a play-off system between the clubs finishing from 3rd to 6th place in the league to decide entry into the Inter Toto Cup. Representatives were informed of the possibility of another sponsor working in conjunction with the Principality. 14/06/07 Trefn gemau 2007/08 i'w cyhoeddi dydd Sadwrn / 2007/08 fixtures to be announced on Saturday Disgwylir i restr gemau y tymor nesaf gael ei gyhoeddi yn ystod AGM Uwchgynghrair Cymru fydd yn cael ei gynnal yn Llandudno dydd Sadwrn. Y cwestiwn mawr i gefnogwyr Porthmadog yw - pwy fydd ein gwrthwynebwyr ar ddydd Gŵyl San Steffan a Diwrnod Calan? Yn ddiweddar mae Port wedi croesawu Aberystwyth cyn teithio i lawr yr arfordir wythnos yn ddiweddarach, ond gyda Llangefni wedi ennill dyrchafiad i'r Uwchgynghrair mae bellach 4 tîm yn y gogledd-orllewin. Fydd Port yn cael chwarae yn erbyn Caernarfon neu o bosib Llangefni? Bydd rhaid aros am benderfyniad John Deakin. It is expected that next season's fixtures will be announced during the Welsh Premier's AGM which will be held at Llandudno on Saturday. The question on the lips of Porthmadog supporters is - who will be our opponents for the Boxing Day and New Year's Day fixtures? In recent years Port have welcomed Aberystwyth before travelling down the coast a week later, but with Llangefni having won promotion to the Welsh Premier there are now 4 teams in the north-west. Will Port play Caernarfon or possibly Llangefni? We'll have to wait for John Deakin's decission. 14/06/07 Amser cychwyn gemau cyn-dymor / Pre-season kick-off times Mae amser cychwyn y gemau cyn-dymor bellach wedi ei gadarnhau: Kick-off times for the pre-season games have now been confirmed: 14/07/07 - Nefyn (H) - 2:00pm 20/07/07 - Chester City (H) - 7:00pm 25/07/07 - Caerbybi / Holyhead (A) - 7:00pm 28/07/07 - Llandudno (H) - 2.30pm 04/08/07 - Ashton Town (A) - 1:00pm 11/08/07 - Blackburn Rovers (A) - 12:00pm 12/06/07 Phil Jones i ymgeisio yn etholiadau Cynghrair Cymru / Phil Jones stands in Welsh Premier elections Ddydd Sadwrn y bydd clybiau gogledd Cymru yn penderfynu pwy fydd eu cynrychiolydd ar fwrdd rheoli Uwchgynghrair Cymru. Wedi arwain yr ymgyrch yn erbyn penderfyniad y Gymdeithas Bêl-droed i gosbi Porthmadog, bydd cadeirydd y clwb - Phil Jones - yn gobeithio gwthio am newidiadau o'r tu mewn wrth iddo ymgeisio am y swydd. Yn sefyll yn erbyn Phil fydd llywydd clwb Bangor, Gwyn Pierce Owen. Bydd Phil yn gobeithio y bydd ei wrthwynebiad i benaethiaid presennol yr FAW yn boblogaidd gyda clybiau eraill y gogledd. This Saturday, north Wales clubs will decide who will represent them on the Welsh Premier's board. Having lead the fight against the Football Association of Wales' decision to penalise Porthmadog, club chairman - Phil Jones - will hope to fight for changes from the inside when he stands for the post. Standing against Phil will be Bangor City president, Gwyn Pierce Owen. Phil will hope that his opposition to the FAW's current leadership will prove popular with other clubs in the north. 06/06/07 Les Davies yn dychwelyd i Fangor / Les Davies returns to Bangor Yn ôl papur newydd y Chronicle, mae Les Davies wedi gadael Porthmadog i ymuno efo'r hen elyn Bangor. Ymunodd Les â Port ddwy flynedd yn ôl gan wneud argraff gyda'i rediadau cryf a'i reolaeth o'r bêl. Yn ystod tymor 2005/06 fe ddaeth Les yn arwr i nifer o'r cefnogwyr ifanc - roedd mynd mawr ar grysau-T "Les is a Legend"! Yn ystod y tymor diwethaf chwaraeodd Les 30 gêm yn Uwchgynghrair Cymru gan sgorio 8 gôl. Yn ogystal, cyhoeddwyd fod cyn chwaraewr Port, Gareth Parry, hefyd wedi ymuno efo Bangor. Gadawodd Gareth Parry Port yn ôl yn mis Ebrill ar ôl methu cytuno telerau gyda'r clwb. According to the Chronicle newspaper, Les Davies has left Porthmadog to join the old enemy, Bangor. Les signed for Port two years ago, making an immediate impact with his strong runs and his great ball control. During the 2005/06 season Les became a hero to many of the young supporters - "Les is a Legend" T-shirts were a common sight at the ground! Les played in 30 Welsh Premier games last season and scored 8 goals. In adition, it was anounced that former Port player, Gareth Parry, has also signed for Bangor. Gareth Parry left Port back in April after failing to agree terms with the club. 05/06/07 Mwy o glybiau yn cefnogi’r Gronfa Apêl / More Clubs Support the Fighting Fund Mae CPD Porthmadog yn ddiolchgar am gefnogaeth mwy o glybiau eto i’r Gronfa Apêl a grëwyd i ymladd penderfyniad annheg y Gymdeithas Bêl Droed o flaen Tribiwnlys Annibynnol. Yn ogystal â chefnogaeth gan gefnogwyr Y Rhyl a’n cymdogion Caernarfon, mae nifer o glybiau eraill erbyn hyn wedi cyfrannu. Cafwyd rhodd o £170 gan gefnogwyr clwb Dinas Caerdydd a hefyd rhoddion hael gan glybiau Caerfyrddin, Caergybi, Derwyddon Cefn, Hwlffordd, y Drenewydd a chefnogwyr TNS. Diolch i’r clybiau am eu rhoddion a hefyd am gefnogi’r alwad am degwch. Golyga’r cyfraniadau hyn ynghyd â chyfraniadau hael gan unigolion a busnesau fod y gronfa yn agos at y targed o £3000 a osodwyd. Meddai Gerallt Owen, ysgrifennydd y clwb, “Rydym yn reit hyderus fod ein tystiolaeth yn gryf a phan ddaw panel gwbl annibynnol i edrych ar yr achos byddant yn teimlo fod y gosb wreiddiol yn afresymol.” “Heblaw ein bod wedi dweud y gwir, ni fyddai unrhyw dystiolaeth gan y panel i roi cosb inni.” “Erbyn hyn rydym yn agos iawn at y targed o £3000 i dalu am yr apêl ac mae taith feicio Dafydd Lloyd, a gododd £400, wedi ein gwthio yn agos iawn at y swm sydd ei angen.” Porthmadog FC are grateful for the continued support of clubs for the Fighting Fund set up to take the unjust FAW disciplinary punishment to an Independent Tribunal. In addition to the much appreciated generous support of Rhyl and our neighbours Caernarfon, several other clubs have also donated. Cardiff City supporters have donated £170 and generous donations were given by Cefn Druids, Newtown, Haverfordwest, Holyhead Hotspurs, Carmarthen and TNS supporters. Thanks to the clubs for their backing and their support to the call for justice. These generous donations, together with further generous support from individuals and businesses, have pushed the Fighting Fund towards its target of £3000. Looking ahead to the hearing, club secretary Gerallt Owen said “We’re pretty confident that our evidence is good and that when totally independent people look at the case they will feel that the original punishment was overly harsh.” “We’ve been too truthful because if we’d denied that any thing had happened the evidence probably wouldn’t have been there to punish us. “We are within spitting distance of the £3000 we need to pay for the appeal. Dave Lloyd’s sponsored cycle to Cardiff raised £400 and that pushed us pretty much towards the amount needed.” 01/06/07 Paul Roberts yn arwyddo i Port / Paul Roberts signs for Port Cadarnhawyd fod Paul Roberts wedi arwyddo i Port ar gyfer tymor 2007-08. Dywedodd ysgrifennydd y clwb, Gerallt Owen, “Bydd yn dda i’w gael yn ôl gan ei fod yn chwaraewr o safon sydd wedi profi ei allu i sgorio’n gyson. Yn sicr fydd Paul yn gyffeiliad i’r clwb gan fod sgorio yn un rhan o’r gêm sydd wedi bod yn broblem i ni yn ystod y tymor neu ddau diwethaf.” Bydd Paul yn dychwelyd i’r clwb am ei drydydd cyfnod yn dilyn cyfnodau gyda Wrecsam, Bangor a cyfnod byr, diweddar, gyda’r Rhyl. Mae Paul, ar hyd ei yrfa, wedi profi ei allu i ganfod y rhwyd gan sgorio 112 o goliau mewn 196 o gêmau yn UGC. Ei ddau dymor gorau i Fangor oedd 2004-05 pan sgoriodd 24 o goliau a 2005-06 pan rhwydodd 22 o weithiau. Bydd llawer efallai sydd yn ei gofio yn ei gyfnod cyntaf gyda’r clwb yn synnu deall mai dim ond 12 gwaith y dechreuodd i’r clwb yn UGC! Er hynny, cafodd yr 11eg gôl a sgoriodd mewn 12 gêm, yn ystod hydref 1996, effaith rhyfeddol, gan roi’r clwb ymysg ceffylau blaen y gynghrair a Paul ei hun ar y ffordd i gontract proffesiynol gyda Wrecsam. Porthmadog FC have confirmed that they have signed Paul Roberts for the 2007-2008 campaign. Porthmadog Secretary Gerallt Owen said "We are pleased to have Paul back he is a quality player with a proven goal scoring record, I am sure that Paul will be a valuable asset to the club in the one area, goal scoring, where we have on occasion struggled over the past season or two.” Roberts will return to the club for his third stint following spells with Wrexham, Bangor and most recently Rhyl. Paul is a proven goal scorer having scored 112 goals in 196 WPL appearances. In his best seasons at Bangor he scored 24 goals in 2004-05 and 22 goals in 2005-06. Many who remember well his first spell with Porthmadog will be surprised to realise that he has only made 12 WPL starts for the club. However 11 goals in 12 appearances scored during the autumn of 1996 made a mighty impact at the time putting Port amongst the league’s front runners and sent Paul on his way to full time professional football with Wrexham. 01/06/07 Wyth wedi arwyddo at tymor nesaf / Eight sign for next season Mae’r clwb yn cadarnhau fod Richard Harvey, Rhys Roberts, Ryan Davies, Danny Hughes, Carl Owen, Gareth Caughter, Marcus Orlik a Jason Sadler yn barod wedi arwyddo ar gyfer y tymor newydd a hefyd fod carfan llynedd mwy neu lai yn eu chyfanrwydd yn barod i arwyddo yn ystod yr wythnosau nesaf. The club confirms that Richard Harvey, Rhys Roberts, Ryan Davies, Danny Hughes, Carl Owen, Gareth Caughter, Marcus Orlik and Jason Sadler have all signed for the new season, with virtually all of last season's squad also prepared to sign on the dotted line in the next couple of weeks. 01/06/07 Dyddiad y Gwrandawiad Cymodi / Arbitration hearing Date O’r diwedd cadarnhawyd mae Ddydd Llun 18 Mehefin fydd y dyddiad ar gyfer y Gwrandawiad Cymodi Annibynnol. Nid yw’r lleoliad eto wedi ei gadarnhau. Fe gofiwch i’r Gymdeithas Bêl Droed fynnu iddo gael ei gynnal yn swyddfeydd y Gymdeithas yng Nghaerdydd ond mae CPD Porthmadog wedi apelio i’r panel annibynnol gan ddweud fod hyn yn annheg ac o bosib yn rhoi mantais annheg i’r Gymdeithas Bêl Droed. Amser a ddengys os ydym wedi ennill y frwydr fechan hon yn y saga hir gyda ein Cymdeithas Genedlaethol. The date for the Arbitration hearing has now been confirmed as Monday June 18th 2007. However the venue for the hearing remains to be confirmed, as you may recall the FAW had insisted that it be held at their offices in Cardiff but Porthmadog FC had appealed to the arbitrators saying this was unfair and potentially giving the FAW an unfair advantage. It remains to be seen if we have won a small battle in this long running war with our national association. 31/05/07 Ail Dîm yn ennill Tarian Eryri / Reserves win Eryri Shield Cafwyd diweddglo ardderchog i’r tymor wrth i’r Ail Dîm gipio Tarian Eryri gyda buddugoliaeth swmpus o 4-0 dros Hotspyrs Caergybi ar Yr Oval neithiwr (30 Mai). Llongyfarchiadau i’r hogiau. Y sgorwyr i Port oedd Dylan Jones, Arwel Evans, Mark Cooke ac Iwan Williams. Yn bresennol yn gêm oedd y rheolwr newydd Clayton Blackmore a oedd yn llawn canmoliaeth i'r hogiau am eu perfformaid ar y noson. Yn ystod mis Mai, cafwyd buddugoliaeth dros Biwmares (2-1) diolch i ddwy gôl gan Iwan Thomas a hefyd dros Y Gaerwen (4-1) gyda Iestyn Woolway yn sgorio yn yr hanner cyntaf a tair gôl, yn hwyr yn y gêm, gan Steve Jones a dwy gan Tom Hughes. Mark Bridge sgoriodd unig gôl Port wrth iddynt golli’n drwm (5-1) yn Caergybi. The Reserves ended the season on a high note lifting the Eryri Shield with a convincing 4-0 triumph over Holyhead Hotspurs at The Oval, Caernarfon last night (30 May). Well done lads! The scorers for Port were Dylan Jones, Arwel Evans, Mark Cooke and Iwan Williams. Present at the game was the new manager Clayton Blackmore who was full of praise for the performance. On their way to the final they defeated Real Llandudno, Barmouth and Dyffryn and Beaumaris.Pictures from the match. The Gwynedd League season has at last drawn to a close with Barmouth and Dyffryn winning the League title convincingly. Porthmadog finished in sixth place after a rather inconsistent season. Of the 30 league games played, they won 17 and lost 12 but only recorded one draw. During May they defeated Beaumaris (2-1), thanks to two goals by Iwan Thomas, and also Gaerwen (4-1) with Iestyn Woolway scoring in the first half and late goals coming from Steve Jones and two by Tom Hughes. Bydd y canlyniadau yn debyg o gael eu cyhoeddi ar 28/29 Gorffennaf 2007.” Yn aml mae clybiau’n cwyno am benderfyniadau’r Gymdeithas Bêl Droed –cwyno am ddiffyg penderfyniadau i gefnogi’r clybiau llai, cwyno eu bod ym mhocedi y prif swyddogion ac ond am gadw eu swyddi o ddylanwad er mwyn hunan bwysigrwydd ac i odro’r system. Dyma’r cyfle felly i’r clybiau wneud rhywbeth pendant ac, ym marn y wefan hon, RHAID iddynt weithredu. Dyma’r cyfle i’r clybiau gydweithredu i bleidleisio dros gynghorwyr sydd yn mynd i weithredu er budd pêl droed yng Nghymru. Os na wnaiff y clybiau weithio ar y cyd fe gollan eu hawl i gwyno. Heb iddynt weithredu bydd yr un bobl yn ôl am dair blynedd arall i ddifetha pêl droed yng Nghymru. Gan y clybiau mae’r pŵer – dechreuwch ei ddefnyddio. We note the following announcement on the FAW website: “The triennial elections for the Members of the FAW Council takes place throughout the month of July. The results will probably be announced on 28/29 July 2007.” Clubs are often ready to complain about decisions made by the FAW Council -complain about the lack of concern for grass roots football, complain about the ‘yes men’ only interested in maintaining their own positions of influence on the council and in booking their seats on the gravy train. Now, in the view of this website, is their opportunity and clubs MUST take action. Here is their opportunity to vote in councillors who will serve the best interests of Welsh football. If clubs fail to act collectively then they will lose their right to complain. If they fail to act, these people will be in place again for the next three years doing their best to destroy football in Wales. The clubs have the power – use it. 25/05/07 Chwaraewyr CPD Porthmadog yng ngharfan Ynys Môn / Porthmadog FC players in Ynys Môn squad Cyn-rheolwr Porthmadog Osian Roberts fydd, unwaith eto eleni, â chyfrifoldeb dros garfan Ynys Môn ar gyfer Gêmau’r Ynysoedd a gynhelir ar Ynys Rhodes rhwng 30 Mehefin a 6 Gorffennaf.
